What matters is not the why, but knowing which way you want to go.

I work with people who need something to change so that things go better, and who are more interested in the next step than in how they got here.

Who I work with

People who look strong from the outside, but feel that something needs to change.

Your life is more or less in order, and still you run into the same circle, again and again. A great deal changes at once, and no room is left to stop and listen to yourself. With me there is room for that. We do not put the emphasis on the causes, but on what you already do well, and on the best that could happen.

When change moves faster than you can keep up with

If you keep running into the same thing again and again, or you are finding it hard to settle into a new situation, we build on what is already working. Along the way your emotional awareness, your flexibility and your confidence grow, and change starts to feel like room to move rather than a threat.

Feeling well for the long run, with routines that fit your days

You know you should do something about the stress, the sleep, the exercise or the food, and somehow it still doesn't happen? That is not only a matter of willpower. We look for the small steps that genuinely fit your life, so they can become routines you keep.

Everyday life with your children: calmer, and closer to one another

If everyday life with the children, the conflicts at home or your own tiredness is wearing you down, you are not alone. In a safe, non-judgemental space you can think about how to communicate differently with your children, and about what you need as a parent.

What people say

I recommend Adri as a coach with all my heart. She is attentive, empathetic and really tunes in to you: you can feel that she is there with her whole attention, and that she is genuinely interested in what is going on inside you. She is emotionally supportive and creates a safe atmosphere, while her lightness and good humour ease the tension, and she is beside you on your road.

The tool

Let's start with a number...

This is a scaling question, one of the best known tools in solution-focused coaching. Pick something that genuinely matters to you right now: a relationship, your energy, a decision, or a change you have been putting off. Where are you with it today?

Think about where you would like to be, and let's look at how you could get closer to it.

How it goes

In four steps...

  1. Free introductory call

An online conversation of about 15 minutes, where we meet and think through whether working together would be a good choice for us. It commits you to nothing; you are free to decide not to go on.

  2. We make it concrete what better means

First we look together at what you would like instead of the present situation. We do not dwell on the difficulty, but on what would be different in your days if things went the way you want.

  3. We work in sessions

A session lasts about 50 minutes and takes place online. Most people come every two weeks, or once a month. Between sessions you can try out what works, and at the next one we look together at what happened.

  4. You stop, and come back, whenever you want

Solution-focused coaching is often short, because it is effective. For many people a single session is enough to find a new direction. Others are glad to stay longer. I am happy to go the longer road and the shorter one with you. You decide whether there is a next session, and when.
